If one considers the policy document, the wine area of the Ramandolo DOCG is a small part of the territory of the districts of Nimis (which is the administrative center and includes the villages of Cergneu, Chialminis, Torlano and Ramandolo itself) and Tarcento (the community Sedilis).
But we like to think of the Ramandolo area as a larger territory, that includes both the valleys, the one of the river Torre and the one of the river Cornappo. A land full of charm and splendor, where the hills, foothills and real mountains merge into a unique ecosystem.
